My hair loss

I worked as a model for quite a few years when I was younger, and there was an excessive focus on how you looked. I actually think I've always felt it was a bit too much. But when I then actually lost my hair and experienced how other people treat you, it suddenly became a topic of conversation in a different way. It was something I thought about when I walked out the door in the morning — whether I should wear a cap or a beanie.

The treatment at Pilorum

I'm really glad I had my hair done here at Pilorum, because it has been very reassuring. There hasn't really been anything to fault about the procedure — it has truly been simple. It's been lovely to just be able to go home to your own place in the evening and not have to stay at a hotel abroad. It takes a day or two, and it's not something that hurts much. After all, you use your own hair — it's not something you get transplanted, or that you get someone else's hair on your head. It's entirely your own hair.

The result

It has truly been wonderful to have hair again and, generally speaking, to have something there — and also how people treat you. It's been really lovely that it's no longer a focal point when you meet people. Now you just have normal hair. When I walk out the door in the morning, I no longer think about whether I should wear a cap or a beanie — I'm just happy with how I look. A slightly funny thing I've also noticed is that I used to always be guessed to be a bit older than I was, whereas now I'm always guessed to be a bit younger. I think that's rather amusing.

My recommendation

The great thing about choosing Pilorum for your hair transplant is that they guarantee you a really good result. So just get it done. If there were one thing, I'd probably have wished I had done it two or three years earlier — because it has simply been a great investment, and it's just been wonderful to feel like myself again.
